• One of the Projects I designed and coded is a Real Estate website that
  integrates 4 different Multiple Listing Services , I developed the code that
  retrieved the data from these completely different Services , formatted it and
  stored it locally , I developed a search engine to search this data based on
  user input and also developed the dynamically generated display using
  templates.
• I work with CGI methodology to integrate back end databases with a website .
• I am knowledgeable in geocoding and can work with Google Maps API as well as
  the PayPal API. I continually integrate HTML, Javascript and AJAX into my
  projects
• I have developed code that uses the USPS API to calculate Shipping .
• I am a Linux user and administrator, currently developing for the Linux
  operating system using various flavors of Linux.
  I have used and installed most flavors of Linux including
  Red Hat, SUSE, Caldera, Turbo, Debian, CentOS and Slackware.
• For one Client I designed 3 servers, built them from off the shelf components,
  installed all Operating System software as well as all server services, web,
  mail, network. I continue to administer these servers via Secure Shell Access.
• I can design and assemble PC's from component parts, test and troubleshoot
  hardware and networks.
• I am proficient in Dos , win3.1 , win 95-98-XP as well as the Linux command line
  I Have experience integrating Windows and Linux environments with Samba services.
• I can administer Simple Data Bases, write SQL queries, design tables. For one
  on going project I designed a master database, that was to be populated from
  data feeds from 3 different sources . Each data feed was acquired in a
  different way, consisting of files that were formatted in completely different
  styles, I created a method to unpack the different data, map it and consolidate
  it into one database.

• I use various free open source programs to do Multimedia production, Video
  and Sound capture, Graphics and photo editing as well as DVD creation and have
  used and am familiar with Microsoft Windows based tools .
• I can design and set up TCP/IP Networking, from selection of equipment to
  installation trouble shooting and administration as well as pulling cable.
• I Am currently working in Perl 5 and Mysql 3,4 and 5 developing end user web
  based data base applications. I use Perl to populate as well as query and
  display data base information.

• I can and do use XML based Servers and clients to do Data Mining via remote connections.
• I have used XML in projects, that either convert from or translate to XML
  format. I have used the SOAP object to query and receive data from remote web
  services.

  small businesses, a courier company and a computer consultant business.
